BICYCLE SALES / CUSTOMER SERVICE - Full time (will consider part-time).

Provide sales and customer service for clients seeking bicycles, clothing, and accessories. Sales experience, bicycling experience, and bicycle knowledge highly preferred. Bicycle fit experience is a plus.
This job is broken down approximately as follows, subject to change:
Sales - 70%
Inventory receiving - 10%
Shopkeeping activities - i.e. cleaning, re-stocking inventory - 10%
Marketing / Clerical - 10%
The ideal candidate has knowledge and experience in most types of bicycles, including road, triathlon, mountain (full suspension and hardtail), and recreational and has some fundamental technical knowledge. Knowledge and experience with bicycle fit is a plus. The candidate has outstanding written and oral communication skills and is able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in person and on the telephone. Employees must be able to accurately follow written procedures. Employee must display a positive, professional, and courteous attitude; demonstrate initiative; possess a desire for continuous professional development; demonstrate integrity; possess strong written and oral communication skills; and have a willingness and desire to provide outstanding customer service.
The employee must be able to perform some lifting and moving. Specifically, the jobs require the ability to lift a bicycle (up to 40 pounds) onto an overhead rack and up and down stairs (a ramp is available to roll the bike) and to move heavy boxes and bicycles.
All employees perform additional tasks. Computer profiency and outstanding customer service skills are necessary for the successful candidate. In addition, the ideal candidates will have with knowledge and experience in mountain biking, road biking, and triathlon, will have very strong computer skills, and knowledge in website design and maintenance, and social media marketing.
Schedules include Thursday evenings and Saturdays.
