Matt spends all of his time cycling, rock climbing, and trail running(If he’s really lucky, he’ll get to sneak in a backpacking or bikepacking trip).  He was a bicycle mechanic for two years in the town of Hilo, Hawaii before joining Bicycles East in 2016. He's been riding trails for at least 15 years, but still can’t do a proper manual.  Matt has worked at an active volcano, an orchid farm, a 1920’s theater, as well as a bakery, and pizza and sushi joints. He enjoys working on suspension, hydraulics, shifting systems, and long moonlit walks on the beach.
