Bicycles East Recognized as One of America’s Best Bike Shops

Bicycles East has been recognized by the National Bicycle Dealers Association as one of “America’s Best Bike Shops.” To achieve this recognition, Bicycles East met a variety of criteria related to customer service, staff knowledge, community involvement, advocacy efforts, and operational excellence. The evaluation included a comprehensive application process and included a visit by a mystery shopper who evaluated the store from a consumer’s direct perspective.

According to the NBDA, “The program was created to highlight shops that best support their community, provide top notch customer service, and support the industry both locally and nationally” and this is “the first time bike shops have been evaluated and rewarded based on reasonably objective, and fully-disclosed, criteria.”

Bicycles East is family-owned and operated by Glastonbury residents Steve and Deb Dauphinais. They are extremely grateful for this honor and thanks the community for their support over the past decade.
