Campagnolo strives to always offer the best solutions, no matter what frame or tire the cyclist has chosen. As manufacturers begin to develop frames and fork designs that take advantage of the aerodynamic gains of direct mount brakes, the Campy Tech Lab has worked to make new Campagnolo Direct Mount brakes that can guarantee the Campagnolo quality and performance standards. Through the self-balancing design, this new braking system by Campagnolo provides a completely symmetric and efficient brake application. In addition, the extremely stiff structure of the new Campagnolo Direct Mount brakes ensures superior stopping power, whilst the design elements take inspiration from the aerodynamics of the brake and are enhanced by the new sealed structure of the brake levers themselves. In addition to pure performance, a great deal of attention was given to ease of use and adjustment. The goal was to guarantee that the Campagnolo brake would be both easier to fit and intuitive and simple to adjust compared to any model available. That was made possible through the stiff structure positioned in the rear part of the brake, enabling rapid fitting that does not require external brake boosters, even on the weakest chainstays.

Why We Make This The simple answer is that many contemporary bicycle frame designs call for the headset bearings to ride inside the frame’s headtube. After decades of making press-in bearing headsets, we needed to make headsets that worked in these newer frames. From the beginning we understood that integrated headsets posed a unique challenge in that the bearings are not pressed into a cup and sit loosely in the frame. When bearings are not pressed securely into a cup they shift and move, rapidly losing preload. As preload drops, the bearings are more susceptible to creaking, damage, and failure. That’s a problem we know how to solve. Why You Want It Enter, our patented GripLock™ bearing cap. The GripLock™ preloads the headset independently of clamping onto the steerer, so it retains preload far better than the competition and is impervious to the ill effects of load spikes from large hits and heavy braking. This means smoother steering, no more creaking, and a longer lasting headset. Our GripLock™ design also takes the guesswork out of preloading a headset, because the bearing preload force is independent of the clamping force. Our headsets can be preloaded to a torque spec. Compatible with Santa Cruz, Yeti, Alchemy, Santa Cruz Stigmata (without baseplate), Ibis Hakka MX, and more. - Engineered, manufactured and assembled in Portland, Oregon USA - King Lifetime Warranty - Legendary made-in-house bearings - Patented GripLock® retention design for dependable headset adjustment (US Patent 8662517) - 41mm 45x45 upper bearing - 52mm 36x45 lower bearing - Compatible with the included baseplate and 36 degree integrated crown races

Why We Make It Maybe we’re just a bunch of old softies, but the GripNut told the world we meant business when it came to headsets, and there are still a kajillion of them out in the world, giving good, daily service. It’s hard to talk about sustainability and not keeping making a cornerstone product like this one. Why You Want It You want to ride that classic bike of yours forever, and we don’t blame you. Our GripNut™ headset is designed for threaded forks that don’t require a cable hanger or additional spacers, allowing us to build a low stack height threaded headset with a unique collet locking system that stays securely adjusted. Every Chris King headset is built with our heat-treated bearings, and surgical-grade steel races machined simultaneously to ensure they are perfectly matched. As Chris King bearing tracks age and burnish, they actually get smoother, and all headsets are fully serviceable for years upon years of demanding riding. Why We Make This Headtube and fork steerer standards have proliferated in recent years, but for a long, long time these variables were more fixed, so we made thousands upon thousands of NoThreadsets™ to serve bikes with unthreaded fork steerers. We made them in a variety of diameters, and everyone was happy in the land. We still make it, because it’s still a great headset for all those bikes that are still rolling through the world with a headset that will never die. Why You Want It For decades our NoThreadSet™ set the standard for quality headset function delivering precision performance to numerous world champions, grand tour winners, and aspiring riders around the world. - Engineered, manufactured and assembled in Portland, Oregon USA - King Lifetime Warranty - Legendary made-in-house bearings - Patented GripLock® retention design for dependable headset adjustment (US Patent 8662517) (1-1/8” only) - Available in 8 beautifully anodized colors in both bold and sotto voce marking options - Responsibly lightweight - Options to fit 1” and 1-1/8” straight steerer tubes

TEMPO ARGO R1 is a versatile endurance road saddle with a short-nose design and generous ischial support that encourages stability. Where a traditional saddle shape encourages riders to shift their position frequently for better leverage, Argo puts the rider in a more planted position, making for greater stability and better weight distribution. Tempo Argo's short length allows the rider to sit further forward without placing undue pressure on sensitive tissues. It also features an ergonomic cutout that was developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts. Argo is our most versatile saddle shape and each version suits different riding styles. As the endurance riding option, Tempo Argo has been engineered to deliver a riding feel that suits the balanced geometry of today's all-purpose road machines. The padding is made from fizik's proprietary Type 2 foam formulation, slightly thicker around the ischial sit bones area to support a more upright riding posture. The cushioning is slightly softer and more progressive than the type we use on our racing saddles, providing more long-distance comfort. Argo is a product of the fizik Concepts program, a cross-disciplinary collaboration of leading industry experts and academics carrying out research and analysis on technology, design, physiology, and bike-fitting in search of ways to improve cycling performance. - Argo: a versatile short-nose saddle that encourages stability and relieves pressure on soft tissue area - R1: a combination of a ride-compliant carbon-reinforced nylon shell and a highly stiff carbon rail - Wingflex: the shell's side edges flex and adapt to the rider's inner leg movement - Type 2 foam: progressive cushioning, with lower compression modulus SPECIFICATIONS: TEMPO ARGO R1 150 - Length: 260mm - Width: 150mm - Weight: 195g - Height at 75mm width: 43mm - Length from nose to 75mm width: 103mm - Rail: 10 x 7mm SPECIFICATIONS: TEMPO ARGO R1 160 - Length: 260mm - Width: 160mm - Weight: 202g - Height at 75mm width: 43mm - Length from nose to 75mm width: 103mm - Rail: 10 x 7mm
